The Innamorata Beach, situated in the township of Capoliveri, near the beautiful Costa dei Gabbiani (The Seagull Coast), lies in a natural environment in a wonderful setting. In the past it was called the Cala de lo Fero for its mining origins, the beach is about 280 metres long and made up mostly of small pebbles and dark sand, and in front of you a mesmerizing, crystal blue sea. Half of the beach is free for everyone and the other half is equipped with beach establishments for those who prefer comfort or who want to practice aquatic sports. Thanks to its position, protected by Punta Pareti to the north and Punta della Ciarpa to the south, it is sheltered from the wind most of the time. The nearby Isole Gemini (the Twin Islands), two little islands that you can reach by swimming or with a small boat, is one of the trips that you must not miss, especially for those who love snorkeling thanks to a sea-bed rich with marine fauna.
